Christmas in Minnesota

Cade enjoyed his 1st Christmas in Minnesota with Tyler’s family. It was nice to have a break from our normal routine and be able to visit with family.

We continued a tradition that Tyler remembers from his childhood in the Twin Cities of visiting the Christmas display on the 8th floor of the downtown Macy’s (formerly Dayton’s/Marshall Fields). Each year, the store re-creates a story with animated dolls (think “It’s a Small World”) and scenes. It is a lot of fun to see all of the details that go into the story. This year’s theme was “A Day in the Life of an Elf.” Cade loved the lights and watching everything moving around. Afterward, we were treated to lunch at a family favorite: Cossettas in St. Paul. SO GOOD!

We were also very fortunate to be able to connect with some of our wonderful friends while we were there. Thank you to everyone who made time to see us! It was so good to see you! We feel so blessed to have you in our lives!

We miss being able to spend time with all of our friends and family in Minnesota!

  1. I am glad you finally got your Christmas pictures on...They look so great...I really enjoy the one of Cade driving (even though you are at a stand still)
