We took advantage of some of Tyler’s “down-time” during interview season to go explore the 97-year-old Norwegian tall sailing ship that arrived in port in downtown Norfolk this week.
The "HNoMS Statsraad Lehmkuhl" is Norway's oldest and largest sailing vessel.
It was fun to explore and we figured it was good to show some pride in the Scandinavian heritage we have from both sides of our family.
Afterwards, we enjoyed the beautiful 70-degree weather and walked around Town Point Park.
I had to get a picture of each of the kids by the Norfolk, Virginia sign so they can remember their birthplace.
