Riding the Tide

While we gone this summer, the light rail system, called The Tide, in Norfolk was finished.  When we got back Cade was so excited to be able to ride the train.

Tyler was busy at the hospital, but we joined our friends the Bishops for a ride on The Tide and then we went to a model train display.  Cade chased the train around the track for over an hour.  He cried when I told him we had to leave.  He absolutely loved the trains!

Once we got back after the holidays, we took advantage of one of Tyler’s last few free days and rode The Tide.  We rode it as far as it would go and then went to the Mall.  It is nice being able to entertain Cade with such simple things!
