Because of the abnormally warm spring, followed by some frosts, the apple harvest in the midwest was far below normal. However, we were lucky to still be able to go apple picking in Wisconsin with the kids. We tried going again a couple weeks later in MN with our friends Liz, Sylvia and June, but unfortunately there wasn’t much left at all.
